Rejoice!

It's another purple based card! I was to late to enter the contest for Colour Queen, at the ColourQ blog, but I was so inspired by this photo that I had to use the combo anyway!

The Bashful Blue is sponged on the sentiment panel and scalloped edge. The Psalm is a digi called 'Spring Blessings' from Deedee's Digis. I used a cuttlebug folder for the Bermuda Bay panel. I based my card on the sketch challenge at Heart Song Designs.

Lotta Love

Yes, a lot of love went into this little 3x3 card! First off I printed my 'Stitched with Love' image way to small for what I had in mind. Then I decided to fussy cut around all of those little scallops, which wasn't really that hard now that I know how to fussy cut more efficiently. Then I just went with it and came up with this color combo of red, pink and pale plum. Turns out I really like it, and the card came together very easily. The Stitched with Love heart image is from Heart Song Designs, who just opened a web store! I discovered Leah's designs at my favorite digi community, CDAC.
