I realized a while back that money is a wonderful donation, so that fresh food can be purchased for a food bank. It takes a little more time, but it also leaves a "paper trail" for tax purposes.

My daughter just finished "Serve Week" at her church camp. One day her duties included separating Lucky Charms into smaller bags for a food bank. Her BFF, who was in a different group, also had a day of this duty. Guess they had a huge Lucky Charm donation!! Close to 100 youth, from parts of Michigan, and Indiana, served in Kent and Montcalm counties.
