Potluck Pastel

I rarely "do" pastel, here is why I did it...
Last Friday, 08-14-08, Lee hosted the Potluck Friday challenge at StampTV. She choose a recipe for us to follow. I love these! Yipee!

Here it is:
1 or more Designer Papers
2 or more Types of Bling
3 or more Pastel Colors
4 or more Layers

Not to, bad. I had no problem picking my DP. Bling comes last for me, so worry about that later. Pretty in Pink, Pale Plum, umm, now what? Maybe..... Blush Blossom? Yes! That works. Layers, not a problem. Soooo, here it is:

I ended up with 5 layers. You can see my first bling, a flower made with two felt and one brad flower. My other type of bling didn't show up well. I added Stickles to her eyes, but they looked gloppy and creepy then, so I spread them around. I added more Stickles to her whole body.
So there you have it, why I made a pastel card. Thanks for the push, Lee, I like how it turned out.

SUPPLIES
Card Stock: pretty in pink, pale plum, blush blossom, whisper white (SU) / DP: loves me (retired SU) / Ink: basic black (SU) / Stamp Sets: just so hippy! (Melanie Muenchinger for Gina K Designs)
Other: Prismacolor pencils, Stickles, (GKD), felt flowers and metal flower brad
