Long time, no post. Sorry about that, we had the "crud" at our house the last 2 weeks. What's that you ask? Just the rotten cold and allergies lots of people in mid-Michigan get in the fall. Blah... :P I love how this card turned out. It was inspired by the film "All About Eve", which is the pick for the
Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge this week. This is such a fun challenge! I tried to do this challenge a while back when it first started, but couldn't get it. I went back to it when Gina K was the guest designer last week. Well, I don't remember "All About Eve" very well, but the fact that it is a black & white film became my inspiration. She wanted to be a theater star, and to add sparkle was the creative challenge, so this is what I came up with. What do you think?
SUPPLIEScard stock: basic black, whisper white (SU)
dp: love letters (little yellow bicycle)
ink: basic black (SU)
stamp sets: embrace life (SU) and starlight starbright remixed (verve)
other: chunky silver glitter (SU) christmas red glitter (stickles) tiny self-adhesive rhinestones (unknown)

Another beauty Lori! You can never loose with black and white!
another beauty!
Love the classy-ness of black and white - something the Eve character was willing to forego to make her dream come true! Nice job!
LOVE the paper! I really like black and white cards. It just shouts CLASS! :)
I love the black and white look with the pop of color from your sparkles!! So pretty, Lori!!
Hope you're over "the crud".
