Cottage for SSCC #22

It's a Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge card! This week Candace Mitchell is the hostess and this is what she chose:

SCRIPTURE

Joshua 24:15, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

CHALLENGE

Create a card or project focused on the "home." For example, a housewarming card, or decor for the home.

This is one of my favorites and I have a magnet on my 'fridge that has a cottage with this verse. I wanted to keep my card simple to showcase the verse. I used pastels to color and it didn't turn out quite like I had in mind, but that's okay, I like it like this! *U* Click here to see the challenge and DT designs.

supplies-all SU
card stock: elegant eggplant, old olive, dusty durango, whisper white
dp: none
ink: basic black
stamp set: To You and Yours
other: brads, pastels, blender pen
VERSE is computer generated

Oh how sweet and pretty, great use of that stamp. I don't think I've seen it in Spring type colors, always winter, this looks so nice. Thanks for participating in the SSIC this week!
