I decided to use, Just So Hippy!, my first set by Melanie. Click on the blog link above and check out the samples, you'll be glad you did!!!
Okay, here's what happened....I started this card for my DD's 15 th birthday (it's tomorrow). She loves the hippy animals, so the timing of this is perfect. The card was coming together, except the balloon string, not so much. I thought I would try using some twine. My paper scissors were out, so I grabbed them for a quick snip....oh yeah, I snipped....right into my left index finger!!!! Now this is something I do on a regular basis, scissors, knives, glass, paper, you get the idea, 2 or 3 times a year is pretty regular I guess. So I got up, and ran into the bathroom w/ my dear, wonderful husband close behind. We got things under control, so, I finished the card, took the pics, and have been typing forever! I don't want to use my left hand, and start bleeding again, I tend to get a little "shocky" in these situations. Well, thanks for hanging in there w/ my long story!!!
eta: the photo isn't very good, the colors are actually pink pirouette, rose red, taken with teal and basic black
DO THE BLOG HOP :O you'll have a blast!
