We've got your back Spencer!

I started making this card for the StampTV color challenge, STVCCTG6, yellow, black and white. I used Theresa Momber's, "hang in there" stamp set for GKD. I don't have any Copics yet but I followed Theresa's tutorial here, using Prismacolor pencils, Goo Gone, and a blending stump. I used Spellbinders oval Nestibilities. I sponged so saffron around the frog image. I was going to use some yellow daisy flowers that I received from my friend, Sabrina, but after I mounted my sentiment, I decided, no flowers. Maybe my DD would like to send this to her friend.

Spencer is 15 years old, a freshman in high school, and is fighting testicular cancer. We live in a small'ish community outside of a metropolitan. The whole town has come together to support this boy and his family. His family goes to my daughter's church, and we have know him and his mom since pre-school. His BFF's mom put together a t- shirt campaign last fall. Everyone purchased yellow t-shirts that say "Mason bites Cancer", with the bulldog mascot on the front and "we've got your back, Spencer!" on the back. The high school has "yellow-out" days, when everyone wears them. The local sports shop produced them, with the profit going to the family to help cover health costs. So, long story short, Theresa's "I've got your back" sentiment is perfect.

Please hold Spencer and his family up in prayer.

Thank you for hanging in with me. I know many faith filled women follow my blog. Please pass this on.
