For this first card I used a free digi from Layers of Color. This is not from CDAC, but you can use any digi for the challenge. I started with the turned MMSC59 sketch and the LOC art stencil called Victorian Art Stencil. I used Brocade Blue craft ink on Bashful Blue card stock. Rather than using the oval, I used the bird image, (freebie from LOC). I also used Flowering Gems clear art stamps from LOC. I colored with markers and added pearls, rhinestones, and stickles for glitter and shine.
The second card is the MMSC59 sketch in the original position, with the oval. The stamped image on the left side is the LOC art stamp set "Garden Borders". The "Praying Angel" image is a freebie from McMahon Five Designs, that I picked up at CDAC. She is colored with pencils and goo gone, but it smeared a bit with my printer ink. I used a Sakura clear jelly roll pen on her wings and in her hair for sparkle. The words are rub-on's.

OMGosh Lori these are awesome! Love your pearls on the first... so creative!
Hi Lori, thank you so much for doing two cards this week. They are both wonderful. I like that they are both blue and your flowers on your first card are amazing along with those pearls too. Both cards are a wonderful take on the sketch and your blog post is fabulous. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with the DT team, viewers and players of the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenges. We are thrilled each week to see such wonderful entries in our challenges and I want to personally thank you for joining in the fun.

Lori, wow, thanks for doing 2 cards for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week. We're going to get spoiled and expect this every week!! LOL!! Your cards are captivating. They "feel" so good. The subtle colors, the focus on the images and yet still so much detail to enjoy. They are just so soothing to me. LOVE your bird image and pearls on the first one and the second one is precious with the single flower and awesome image. I truly love both of these.
Thanks so much for joining us this week and come out and play with us again next week with, say, 3 cards!! LOL!!
