Just wanted to pop in to let you know I'm still here! We had a storm and lost power and internet for 48+ hours over the long weekend. We have had a lot of rain, trees were uprooted in the recent storm.
I may have mentioned that we have a lot of soccer games, which really is pretty normal for us, I guess. The CACC ended a week ago, the varsity game was cancelled. The JV game called at half time-field flooded. My dd on JV and they did win. The Varsity is in the championships now and won their first game last night. My 'other daughter', (dd bff) has been pulled up to varsity, but didn't get to play yesterday.

Hi Lori!! I am glad to hear you are safe from the storm and that things are going well. Sounds like you are quite busy!! We went to Virginia this past weekend and we had an awful storm!!!! It was the worst storm I have ever been in with hail, wind, pouring rain...etc. After sitting on the side of the road for 45 minutes and driving in horrendous conditions, we heard there were tornadoes in the area. I was not a bit surprised as there was debris flying everywhere, trees were coming down, leaves covered the road....I did a lot of praying on that trip. Thankfully God spared us.

Congrats to all the winning teams...my son's were in soccer and we spent a lot of time on the road..such great memories!!! I'm glad everyone was ok after all the bad weather...what a bummer being without electricity for 2 days...yikes!!!
Those storms were pretty bad, weren't they? We didn't get hit too hard here.

Ugh... ick, ick! Cognrats to your li'l JVer winning!! No fun dealing with the heavy rains and flooding though. This past week has been crazy! I had surgery on my other wrist so doing minimal--sorry I haven't visited in a while. Trying to play catch up *Ü* Hope you had a GREAT day today and have some sunshine this weekend?!!
Sorry to hear things have been so tough with the weather, Lori! We are just now getting some sunshine -- so much for it being almost summer! Hope the weather is improving for you and that things slow down a bit, you busy lady!
