Ahhh, Lake Michigan

This is Lake Michigan, so gorgeous!  The Lake came to mind while I was thinking about Isabella's 'Chill Out'  Challenge, to use blue & green. My base is teal and my coloring is blue & green with a brown swim dress. The photo is a little 'muddy', because the colors are muted. I love Isabella's image, (found HERE), because I was able to fit a title on her sign. I like how it looked half blank, but I needed to put my title somewhere, and this worked. Thanks for visiting!

French Provencal

This is my card based on the Play Date Cafe' Challenge37. When I saw "Provencal", I thought of blue and yellow, and the Isabella's Sketchbook image, "Sweetheart Flowers". This image was a freebie at CDAC. I used regular SU markers to color the image. The tag is made with a rub-on and an eyelet. Thanks for the fabulous inspiration photo/idea, Julie!

Journaling Card

This was a tough one for me to photograph, it's a 2.5" x 3.5" card. I think it will work to write a few things on the inside, then place on a scrapbook page. The top layer has a tab at the bottom that fits into the bottom of the card, just above "Journey". The sentiment and swirls are from Stampin' Up rub-on's, so handy. The "Grape Cluster 3" image is from Isabella's Sketchbook. I'll be entering this in the ANYTHING GOES challenge 15, and at the CDAC. If you haven't gotten over there yet, you should. It is a lot of fun, meeting new artists and discovering new images.
