My Late Happy Monday

I haven't had a chance to sit down and do any blogging since Saturday! I do have this card up at the Happy Monday Challenge by Deedee's Digis. Check out the other awesome cards this week by my DT sisters. This is the theme:
Your challenge this time is to make a card or other handmade project to appreciate or just give a little extra attention to a senior citizen

I made this bright blue card with my father in mind. The way I am understanding the message is this...my dad lifts me up. As a widower now I also will lift him up with this card just to brighten his day! Go over and check out the images at Deedee's Digis.

Beautiful Easter

 

Here's the card I made for the Happy Monday Challenge with my limited supplies. I've used 'Eggstra Pretty' by Deedee's Digis, (psst, it's only $1!). I used Gina K's Pure Luxury Wild Lilac and Vibrant Violet card stock. The yellow cs is from Stampin' Up as are the markers I used to color with. The pretty orange pearls are by e. Prima that I purchased from McMahon5 Designs. 

The challenge this week at the Happy Monday Challenge by Deedee's Digis is EASTER. Most of us need Easter cards right about now. Check out the store for a great selection of Easter images.

Happy Monday Everyone!
Today I used a brand new, just released April 1, image called 'Swinging By' from Deedee's Digis. I was so excited when Dee released her to the team. I knew then I wanted to color her the color of a red hog. She reminds me of my first 4H market hog, Shirley. I colored this sweet piggy with Water Color Wonder Crayons from SU, in Bravo Burgundy.

This week we want you to create something combining some classic patterns:  polka dots, checks, and stripes! You can use any combination of these on your project this week. That's our theme this week, and Deedee's Digis has some super cute sets for children. I've used Dino-Mite, a set just released March 1. Make sure to check out the other designers cards at the Happy Monday Challenge Blog.

Hello all! Today's Happy Monday Challenge is a sketch. I turned mine on it's side so that I could use this adorable ducky image. This is a new image from Deedee's Digis called, Flowers For Thought. I just love this sentiment don't you?!?

What I did:
Split Coast Stampers has the tutorial with a video that I followed for the Drawer Box. My uber talented friend, Kristine Breach has a tutorial for a 4 Drawer Easel Card, which is has been in the back of my mind for a loooog time.  I Finally did it Kris!!! Between the 2 tutorials this is what I came up with.

Happy Monday!

It's another Monday, and time for the Happy Monday Challenge by Deedee's Digis.  Let's use pastels!!! Here is my 'Pretty Pastels'  easel card for this week:

I've used  'Become New', one of the new March release sets from Deedee's Digis. Isn't she pretty? A brand new lamb! I used Stampin' Up watercolor crayons and an aqua paintbrush to color her. This is a close up of the verse/sentiment:

Seize the Daisy!

I just had to post one more card for the Happy Monday Challenge, Fellowship, 'Share a Smile'. Isn't this the best little goat?!? Seize the Daisy, is the name of the image which can be found at Deedee's Digis. I will be entering the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I colored with Koh-i-noor pure color pencils and OMS. Fellowship Monday

Feeling funny? Well Deedee's Digis Happy Monday Challenge has a super challenge for you today!  It's Fellowship Monday of the Month, so lets all share a smile!!!
 
Make a funny card that you want to send to someone to lift up their spirits after this long and cold winter. I've used Ladybug Hugs from Deedee's store, Deedee's Digis. If you haven't checked out the new store, you really must, it's fabulous! When I first came upon this digi of Deedee's, all I could think of was Jerry Lewis yelling 'heeeeey, laaaa-dy'! I don't know if it was from a movie or what, but it stuck in my head. This week I finally had a reason to use it. It's funny to me, and bright and cheerful for everyone else. This image is 'Irish Blessings' that Deedee is providing for the Crafter's Digital Art Center's sketch challenge, cdacsc17 HERE. I colored with SU markers, cuttlebuged the pink panel, and used sparkling gold/green paper behind the main image. Sing Praises

This is my first card for the Happy Monday Challenge by Deedee's Digi's. Hop on over and check out what my dt sisters came up with for the 'All Buttoned Up' challenge for today. My image is the wolf from the Sing Praises set, as is the sentiment, (one of the three included). I colored with pencils and OMS then heat embossed the whole panel with clear embossing powder.
