Happy Monday!

Hello all! Today's Happy Monday Challenge is a sketch. I turned mine on it's side so that I could use this adorable ducky image. This is a new image from Deedee's Digis called, Flowers For Thought. I just love this sentiment don't you?!?

What I did:
Split Coast Stampers has the tutorial with a video that I followed for the Drawer Box. My uber talented friend, Kristine Breach has a tutorial for a 4 Drawer Easel Card, which is has been in the back of my mind for a loooog time.  I Finally did it Kris!!! Between the 2 tutorials this is what I came up with.

The sketch from the Happy Monday Challenge by Deedee's Digis:

Welcome to the 'Time To Bloom' Blog Hop with Deedee's Digi Design Team

Hi, are you enjoying the Time To Bloom hop so far? If you are coming from the lovely Lawren's blog you are right on track, if not just keep reading....

Spring is such a marvelous time of year! A time of warming weather, of lengthening days, and best of all, a time of vibrant colors and new life -- a time to BLOOM! Join the Deedee's Digis Design Team today as we celebrate the (almost) start of this very special season with a "Time to Bloom" blog hop!
If this is your first stop on the hop, be sure to visit the Crafting with Deedee's Digis blog, where you will find the directions for participating in the hop, a chance to win the grand prize of a $15 credit to our store, AND a little gift for you!

I've chosen to use the 'Joy and Blessing' set by Deedee's Digi's. I colored with SU markers, used Lacey Circles by Spellbinders, then added ribbon and pearls. The colors are Certainly Celery and Lovely Lilac. I decided to do something a little different, so I found this fancy fold, Spring Card tutorial at Split Coast Stampers.

And of Course I colored 2 images so here is the second one made into a little gift card in Pacific Blue and Pretty in Pink.

Your next stop on the hop is Melissa at Stamp It, Scrap It, Share It
I'm so sorry my link to Melissa wasn't working earlier, it's okay now!
Before you leave, please be sure to leave me a comment in order to be entered to win $5 in free digis of your choice from the Deedee's Digis store! You have until 12 noon Eastern Time on Sunday to comment. I will choose a random winner then, and all winners will be announced on Monday at Crafting with Deedee's Digis -- be sure to check back then to see if you've won.  Thanks so much for joining us today, and may all the blessings of Spring be yours!

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Saint Pat's!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! I made up these book marks, with scraps and Deedee's Digis, Irish Blessing and Lucky Teddy. Each set comes with several sentiments. I used giant paperclips and sticky strip to attach. The backs are also covered for a clean look.  See you tomorrow for our big hop, don't miss it!

Lilac Love

Hard one to photograph, being BLACK & WHITE with a SPLASH of  LILAC. I wanted to get this posted and loaded so I could get it into Crafting With Deedee's Digi's challenge. This is her current "try before you buy" image, great pair of hearts wouldn't you say?  The challenge last Monday was a sketch, which I turned on it's side. Tune in tomorrow for Deedee's newest 'Happy Monday' challenge!!! The colors are from the challenge over at the Play Date Cafe. I love the Color Splash challenges!
Thanks for visiting!

Christmas Candle

Here's a quick post to show you my entry card for Crafting with Deedee's Digi's Challenge. The image is by Deedee called 'A Light into the World' , it comes with 2 sentiments as well. The challenge was to follow a sketch, my card is pretty simple, turned on it's side, and a rectangle rather than an oval. But it works! Thanks for visiting!

Thank-you Pumpkin Girl

I finished my card for Crafting With Deedee's Digi's Happy Monday challenge. I combined Deedee's image, 'Hello, Pumpkin!' with More Mustard, Sahara Sand, and a purple card stock. The dress is actually not black, it's dark purple. My sketch comes from Carly at Sketches By Carly. She comes up with great sketch challenges, but they are a bit intimidating to me. I had some trouble with this one after all, Carly!!!

Thank-you all for your visit and your comments!

Rooster & Chick

The set that this image comes from is called 'Thanks Dad', found at Deedee's Digi's.
The sketch is from the Crafting With Deedee's Digi's Challenge Blog.
The color selection is from the Color ThrowDown Challenge.
The 'Treat Yourself' sentiment is from an old SU set.
The button is clear and I adhered a punched circle of Marina Mist cs.
I like how this card came out, simple.

I've been working on a tissue box cover and it is not going the greatest, hope to finish it tomorrow.

Thankful Leaves

I made this little card using Deedee's Digi's image 'Bounteous Blessings'. It's not exactly what I had in mind, but it's okay. The challenge called for using leaves. I love the image and my coloring of it, it's the leaves I'm not crazy about. If you want to play along, you have until Sunday night to enter HERE at Crafting with Deedee's Digi's. Have Fun!!!

Happy Monday Sketch

My card is for the Crafting With Deedee's Digi's Happy Monday Challenge. The stamp set is called 'Leave Me Smiling', and there are four sentiments that go with it. I used pencils, goo gone and a blending stump to color him. My card stock is Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry, with the dp being Pumpkin Pie. The sketch is for the challenge last week. Check out Crafting with Deedee's Digi's tomorrow for a new challenge and a $1 digi. If you play that digi, then the next week's dollar digi is e-mailed to you for free. It's a progressive challenge, similar to one at  Designed to Delight.

Another Autumn card

I'm posting this one pretty late for the challenge. The head cold is better, no where near gone though. Here is the challenge at Crafting with Deedee's Digis. The challenge is to make a project with a harvest theme. The image is "Hay, Pumpkin", by Deedee. I colored my 'hay' yellow/brown to make it straw, which was the idea anyway. Okay, I'm being a brat, all of you city folks call anything baled, 'hay'. Image is colored with colored pencils and markers, 2 eyelets, and the sentiment is on pop dots. The colors mess with eye, making it look like the sentiment is sticking out more at the bottom. Honestly it's not. LOL Thanks for the lovely comments!

Hi There!

I think I'll make it time for the Happy Monday Challenge at Crafting with Deedee's Digi's. The challenge is to create something with the colors yellow, orange, and green. I used my favorite little Birdie Thanks image, which by the way she's only $1, check it out!

Bushels of Blessings

Note-card Closed
Note-card Opened
This is my Happy Monday Crafting with Deedee's Digi's challenge project.
Our challenge to you this week is to celebrate the changing of the seasons by making a tag, card, or gift container of some sort that you might use when sharing some goodies with someone else.
Sounds good, right?  I love the 'Bushels of Blessings' image, isn't this the cutest little piggy??? You can find this and many other digi images HERE in Deedee's store. The base is dark brown, the dp's are Ruby Red and Old Olive. I colored with Koh-I-Noor pure color pencils.
That's about it, thanks for the comments!

Unlikely Place to find a Sketch

Not really an unlikely place, but I combined the stamp set title and Crafting With Deedee's Digi's challenge. The challenge is to follow a sketch and the stamp I used is 'Unlikely Places', drawn by Deedee at Deedee's Digis.

Now get over to Deedee's and check out the special challenge before tomorrow at midnight! Sorry for the last minute head's up!

I'm also entering this card into the Color Throwdown challenge.

A card and a winner!!!

First a card...I so enjoyed the PlayDateCafe'Challenge, that I had to use the colors again. My image is colored with SU Water Color Crayons, the colors are much softer than on my Victorian Rose card.

This is my idea of a pet. I would love to have a pig, I absolutely love them, the real ones, really, we used to raise them. Anyway...this is going on over at Crafting with Deedee's Digi's:
This Week's Happy Monday Challenge
This week our challenge theme is "All About Pets." We challenge you to make a project featuring an animal that could be a pet. Please do feel free to get creative with your "pets!"
[This little piggy is from Deedee's Digi's]

Now the sketch is from Sketches by Carly. This is sketch #4 Picnic Blanket. Her sketches are wonderful! Check them out.

Now, on to my winner!!!! Here is what I did:
1. Assigned a number, in order, to each qualified entry comment.
2. Typed up the numbers 1-53, and cut them up.
3. I placed them in a bag and used randomwright to pick a tag.
4. A member of my household pulled out #12, an early commenter, none other than.....

 ChrissyD. who said...

I agree with Sabrina - GREAT candy! My favorite color combo is REd, black and White

CONGRATULATIONS CHRISSY!!!

Please send your mailing address to stokeswright At hotmail Dot com
I'll talk to you soon!

Want Snow? Not Really!

Okay, I really don't want it to snow. Snow is alright, but the loooong, dark days of cold temperatures are what I don't like. Anyway, I love this snowman and quote by Deedee's Digi's, and have been wanting to use it for quite sometime now.  Over at Crafting With Deedee's Digi's, the challenge is along the lines of back to school. Use the Primary School Crayon Colors, you know, the box of eight fat crayons.

My tag is blue and orange, colored with all eight of the colors. I added 3 brads for his buttons and used some twine type yarn for the tag hanger. I also used a Versamark pen and added micro pearl, Pearl-ex to the snow and snowman.. Of course you really can't see that.

Thanks for visiting!

Crafting with Deedee's digi's-Sympathy

Here is a sympathy card for the Crafting with Deedee's Digi's challenge. Cards we are not crazy about making, but we all need to have on hand. I like how this card came out. The embossed pieces were a RAK from a while back.  I used Deedee's sympathy sentiment that she gave for this challenge.  I used the main sentiment on the inside of my card:

The card is Blush Blossom, retired Stampin' Up card stock, and ribbon from my stash.
Thanks for the visit, hope you like the card!

Double Day

I have two cards today. The first is 'Teddy', & I'm entering him in the Double Delight Challenge #6. The challenge this week is a sketch, which I really enjoyed doing. Teddy is a digi image available at Designed 2 Delight. Head over to Delightful Inspirations, and pick him up, he's the Free Stamp of the Month. Then find out how you can receive more of Faith's digis. The airplane is a retired StampinUp! The inside sentiment is from Melanie Muenchinger's Inspiration Mosaic, available at GinaKDesigns. I love the font and the quote itself.

The second card is 'Rocky Raccoon'.  He and the sentiment are available at Deedee's Digi's, his real name there is 'Harvest of Happiness'. The challenge at Crafting with Deedee's Digi's is also a sketch. The inside of this is basic, dsp(designer series paper) and cs.
