Birthday Magic
This is a birthday card using the 'There's Magic In The Air' sketch challenge. I've used the BIRTHDAY HAT CUPCAKE image from Paper Cupcakes. My colors are basic gray, pink pirouette, and rich razzleberry. The colors are from the Color Throw Down challenge, isn't it yummy? Thanks for the visit, we are off to a soccer game, first one for the CASL Girls Fall season.

A Joyful Ride
This tag is for the challenge at There's Magic In The Air, which is to use this image from Paper CupCakes, and get out your punches. I used a corner rounder, 2 circle, and flower punches. I traced a large tag, cut it out, and adhered the image panel. The color medium is markers. A ribbon was punched and a brad added to the top of the tag. The colors are based on The Color Throwdown challenge this week. Rose Red-Pretty In Pink-So Saffron-Pear Pizazz (Gable Green used)

My Cute Pony
This pony is by Nina for Paper CupCakes. Find him in her store, HERE. The challenge at There's Magic In The Air is this:
Gloria Westerman brings us this weeks challenge. She was you to use any acquired image BY PAPER CUPCAKES and to make any type of flower/flowers and then use it/them on your project. It can be made from paper, material, crocheted, etc. As long as you made it/them.
I made paper a flower by punching handmade paper and cs. Here's a tip: when punching thin, fragile paper, place cs behind it and then punch . I punched the largest flower alone and it tore a bit, then I punched the small flower with the orange cs and it worked just fine. Thanks for visiting!

Just Ducky!
Isn't she a cutie? I thought she would make anyone feel better, especially a little one. The main image is from Paper CupCakes. The challenge is issued by DT member, Dru, and she wants us to use this image and add sewing to the card. Find the challenge HERE, at There's Magic In The Air. I don't use the sewing machine, but I do embroidery and mending. I creatively sewed buttons to metal thingies. The color challenge is from The Color ThrowDown #105:
I know my EE looks black, oh well, we all know how photo's go. The thread I used in my embelli's is actually suede or faux. The sketch is from Melanie, DT for TMITA w/ PCC. She has it HERE on her blog for the PCC Tea Party Blog Hop, (see my sidebar). I guess that's it, thanks for visiting~Lori

Like Bella
This pretty girl looks like my puppy, so I chose her for this weeks, There's Magic In The Air Challenge. The idea is to use at least 3 designer papers. Find 'Sweet Trouble' here. My girl is a Bichon Frise. and she does get into trouble! Here is a photo of Bella. She has a dirty face, but still adorable. She's even smiling, (see her teeth).

A Birthday
This page came about while I was planing on doing the challenge at, There's Magic In The Air/with Paper Cupcakes. Well, the challenge was to use at least 3 designer papers. I never got to that, as you can see. This is my little brothers b-day layout. A little series of him getting a gun, holster, and cowboy hat. I love how 'happy' this came out! Here is where you can find Nina's Birthday Hat Cupcake in her store, Paper Cupcakes. Thanks for the visit!

Dog Days of Summer!
This card is inspired by my friend Patti N. at There's Magic In The Air With Paper Cupcakes. She wants you to use any acquired Paper Cupcake Image and be inspired by the words "Dog days of Summer". So use your creativity however you would like to interpret that phrase. There is also a freebie to get you started if you need one. I got this cute 'Summer Swim' image from Nina, the illustrator, at Crafter's Digital Art Center. It was so much fun putting this card together and coloring little chick!
I almost forgot...I won a prize from Nina, at TMITA last week for participating in the challenge. I received it today, thanks Nina! From the pic in last weeks post I wasn't quite sure if the handmade embellis were flowers or watermelon slices. I see now they could be either! Love the sparkle. *wink*
Thanks for visiting!!!

Strawberries & Cream
-The Challenge- use this image and whatever this title triggers,"strawberries & cream". For me it triggered color, love, and an anniversary card. I wanted to keep it simple and use clear lacquer to shine it up and add dimension. Hard to see but the cake tray and much of the cake are also lacquered. I also used 'Berries & Cherries', by TaylordExpressions.

Patti J. Gilliam brings us this weeks challenge. She wants you to use this image "Flight of the Fuschia" and Make a "Comforting" card (thinking of you, get well, sympathy, etc.), using Flourishes and/or Pearls As you can see I used both flourishes and a pearl!

Bigger is Better
Don't you just love this Ellie, "Tons of Love" from Nina at Paper Cupcakes!?! You can obviously tell that I do. Nina's images are so adorable.
I wasn't sure what to use for the Saturday Spotlight challenge this week, Bigger is Better. Use something over sized. Then I looked at my little pile of weekly half finished items. Low and behold, the larger Tons of Love image that I had printed out. She was already colored but not cut out. I used a SU envelope template to create the larger size to fit my Ellie. I still had to cut the hearts down. She is colored with Bic Mark It markers. I raised the tag element on foam dots. Pretty simple.
Check out the challenge HERE at Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential, SSHP16.
and
the envelope 6.5" x 4"
the card is actually 6.25" x 3.75" so it is a little snug length wise.
